Saraswati

Shoma: I feel like Saraswati is my guardian angel and she helps me keep going with this art. A lot of the time it doesn’t even feel like we’re making it, more like it’s coming through us. Sometimes we have to redo a piece again and again, perfecting it until we finally feel satisfied, and in those moments, it feels like she’s guiding us. That was the same with the face in this piece. We worked on it on and off for months until it finally felt right. It almost felt like she was testing us, seeing if we could get it.
