Sunny: Mother Mary reminds me of who I am inside, and what I can lose of myself when I close my heart. It’s astonishing that her heart is always open, and right now I’m progressing towards that. Even small triggers have me in my logical mind, so she’s a big inspiration because she’s constantly open to what God wants for her and full of love.
Shoma: In school there was a chapel with a statue of Mother Mary holding baby Jesus, it was quiet and peaceful and sometimes I would go there during breaks just to get away. I felt her energy, soft and gentle, and I could feel she was there for me, so I tried to bring some of that into this Mother Mary, and I feel the same way I used to feel in front of that statue.
